I hadn't heard of making animations out of sand, so I had to go see it. I watched Sandman (1973) by Eli Noyes, and it was very fascinating.

If you don't sleep, your brain actually starts to deteriorate, and it gets especially bad when you have a habit of not sleeping. It's genuinely doing serious damage to your brain. I wish I was better at prioritizing sleep throughout my life.

Flash 8 was $15! Creative software now, when it's priced, is often obscenely expensive, it’s ridiculous. Must be very annoying to deal with all the different aspect ratios when making ads. I really like the concept of just make shit.
