The atmosphere is so fun, with great energy! You did an excellent job on composing a great composition with many complimentary parts!

01:07 - Amazing breakdown.

Interloping responds:

I honestly dont think I would be this far if not for your personal efforts to motivate me to keep going with my compositions. To this day Im still convinced that youre the one who scouted me on the portal <3

Excellent episode—very funny with great energy. Thank you so much for answering all the questions and sharing your experiences, J.J. Villard. It's impressive that you can listen and interact with people so effectively. It's surprising that some people can be rude in a professional setting. For example, asking if you still do animation in a dismissive way is indeed rude. It would be better to inquire about what projects you're currently working on. Also, getting ripped off by Kanye West is a wild experience. All great stories!

1:22:05 - Questions from listeners. Newgrounds mentioned! Super thank you Vee!

Thank you so much, J.J. You're absolutely right: creating shows in your spare time is crucial for honing your craft. Preparation is essential if the opportunity arises to present a pitch. You need to be ready for multiple failures and prepared for the possibility of your project being picked up. Crafting a pitch that invites executives to make changes is key to success. Incorporating 70% of feedback from executives while retaining at least 30% of your original ideas is an excellent approach. Creating a show is a collaborative process, and successful pitches are those that embrace development and change.

The more trust you build by demonstrating your capability, the more freedom you will likely have. It's about proving that you are capable of running the show, as people are naturally cautious at the start.

I understand. To have a good pipeline, you need to be focused and disciplined. It makes sense.

Yes, wow—amazing song! Your music is super awesome. I’m always happy to hear your work. You have great richness in your composition, and the variation of sounds adds a fantastic level of depth. The way you mix everything is also excellent! Great energy!

You create amazing music, James. The richness of the sounds, the level of detail in your song, your great voice, and the progression of the music are all outstanding!

JamesHeart responds:

Thank you!! it means a lot
to be honest I almost threw this one away.. I felt it was no good and hated my voice in this
after abandoning it for a few months I went back and finished mixing it with low expectations for it with its reception
I'm glad i was wrong in that

I really enjoyed hearing about the soccer story, as well as experiences with making webcomics. I also found it interesting to listen to what you found frustrating about social media and the occasional rude comments.

You made an absolutely amazing album! You should be very proud. You have a great sound and a unique style.

Dieswyx responds:

Thank you very much Aaly, I'm happy you liked it 😄

Great episode! I enjoyed listening. All the choices are fundamental trade-offs involved in organizing production. Every decision comes with a cost, so making improvements will always incur a cost in resources, as time is also a resource. What I particularly appreciate is the advice and the vulnerability of people sharing their struggles and how they have overcome them or are still dealing with them. I find this brave, compelling, engaging.

One perspective I have is that a story of success should highlight the ability to appreciate and recognize the support and help one received along the way. The entertainment industry, in particular, relies on a dynamic relationship with the audience, providing them with value. In turn, the audience shows appreciation when the material aligns with their expectations.

Many creators may become overly focused on their own abilities and fail to recognize that success is primarily dependent on the viewers' response to the material.

A superpower is the ability to recognize one's own flaws and challenge one's own views, perspectives, and opinions. It is a valuable skill to be able to acknowledge when you are wrong about something or when a habit you have is detrimental to generating value for your environment. Having an analytical approach to making decisions involves evaluating thought processes and understanding how they contribute to establishing habits.

Excellent episode with many amazing insights, especially regarding the approach to sending emails and communication. The perspective on how we didn't have the same opportunities for creating art 100 years ago compared to now was particularly striking.

Excellent song with great positive energy!
