I like Charles Bukowski’s philosophy of 'Don’t Try,' which, suggests that if you have to force yourself to constantly do something, then it’s not for you, I believe that you need to have a fundamental interest in a subject. If every time you engage with it, you don’t feel driven, it’s likely not the right path for you.

What I’ve been hypothesizing is that you might have an initial interest for a subject, although you've created constraints in your schedule by taking on too many things at once. This prevents you from fully immersing yourself in that field.

Consistency is key, which is absolutely true.

I like the talk around playing board games, the neglect of leisure for leisure's sake is detrimental to creativity because it doesn’t give your mind the space it needs to explore.
