Josh Abatecola @guyfromKillerRAT is insightful. I feel that his perspective on: GG Allin; instead of trying to be offensive, is expressing himself, even if it's with smashing his head with his microphone and defecating on stage. It's still better than most pop musicians.

Regarding Toaster Love and Furry Avore (Vore Request), I was surprised by how funny the songs sound. I actually thought they were quite good with interesting backstories as well.

I'm happy Josh's music is still available, and the fact that I got the opportunity to listen to You too talk. Is amazing!

But when will the transcription be added? Does that need to be a transcription?

Lots of good talks about the backstory of his songs were very interesting. You asked really good questions, and I appreciate the fact that you listened and valued the information that was given. You showed interest, and that means a lot. The respect you showed for his craft is very nice, and the atmosphere of the conversation was great.

@Cyberdevil How did you decide to create interviews? I would say it sounded very professional and extremely well-made.

@Cyberdevil

Now, what I've done some research GG Allin did admit to rape people on Jerry Springer. His birth name is Jesus Christ Allin. He has undoubtedly done vile actions. I have read on a Reddit the most trustworthy source, there is a lot of false information about him, though even if 5% of it is true, then he is still gross. And dead.

Perhaps someone can explain the sources and what actually happened.

But he is very much dead and he may rest in piss, literally people were pissing on his grave. It's still better than most pop musicians.

Thank you @guyfromKillerRAT you are right. That is his main selling point as an artist, it's pretty difficult to completely blame him for acting inappropriately, if that is a large component of his performance. If the man who is known for throwing poopsie surprises at the crowd is doing something awful, I don't think people should be surprised. That is true, we don't know what type of activities he got up to, when no cameras were around.

Cyberdevil responds:

That he is! Ah GG Allin... didn't recall him being referenced here. Was reading up on his story just recently. Expressing yourself - no matter how extreme said forms of expression may be - is fine by me, but raping and hurting others in the process of expressing yourself... his path seems a more questionable one to me after recent research. Maybe I'm reading the wrong sources.

It really was a grand debut, and Josh still is making music if you want to check out the new stuff!

The transcription thing's still in my bookmarks. XD I tried running the audio file through an automatic service to get that, but it didn't work so well, requires a looot of manual adjustments, still do plan to get to this eventually it's just way back on the backburner now.

Appreciate the commentary Aalesteir, and glad you enjoyed this! The incentive's all thanks to Josh actually. :) Personally I'm not super proud of my interview tone, I get unreasonably jittery and/or silent with any kind of directed speaking, but it was a good experience! Glad we got it out there; hopefully it helped sell a record or two too. :P

When it comes to GG Allin "raping" people. It's really a "yes and no" kind of topic. The only "raping" he did that we actually know has taken place was him sexually assaulting fans at his shows, for example, shoving a woman's head onto his genitalia. Yes, this would count as rape seeing as it was a forceful action on someone unsuspecting, however, once it happens at his shows enough times (and becomes one of his main selling points as an artist), you couldn't call yourself a rape victim anymore if you went to GG show and it happened to you - you knew it was likely to happen, you know he does it every time and that's his main appeal. You indirectly asked for it by that point. HOWEVER, for it to become commonplace, he had to do it for the first time at some point. In that scenario, the person likely had no idea it was coming. So yes, he is a rapist in some capacity. We don't really know what he did when there were no cameras around.

Thank you!

@Cyberdevil You're really good at making reviews. I'd like to be more like you and also get into the practice of making reviews and sharing how I feel about the projects people have made. You have a great voice and I feel that you are extremely articulate. I absolutely love Better Than the Book as well. @Jabun is an amazing musician! As well as being an amazing person! Meteor Shower is a great song with strong energy.

It's really annoying that there were people who deleted your submissions because they were unkind and didn't like you. Having so many deletions for such a reason seems very stupid. That simply creates a bad environment for everybody because we are all here to have fun, and it's not cool to act like that. If the administration gave me a message like the one you got, I would be upset and I would have beef too. It's good you got support from the administration when your account got hacked the second time.

You are right, stuff like that is luckily a lot less common because NewGrounds now has much better security. I feel most people, if they got hit with those attacks, would not be able to withstand that as well as you did. I really appreciate you sharing those experiences, as they can be difficult because they are quite negative, though it is immensely good that you do because it gives a good perspective of what it was like in 2009.

It's very sad because a lot of people have a negative view of NG because of rude people like that back in the day who would just cause trouble and be really unpleasant. I'm happy that users now are much kinder, and the veteran users understand the power of kindness and how it creates a better environment for all to be in.

Motherload is absolutely a classic. Skye Boyes proved that amazing games can be made. I am very sad that he passed away. He was an amazing artist, one of the greatest Flash developers who ever lived. Even an absolute cunt like me can recognize that.

Hell yeah! @ChazDude great sense of comedy, great creativity, and a level of dedication, passion that deserves all the respect. The Soviet Onion! I wish my dreams were like that instead of being just horrific nightmare stay out at least funny horrific nightmares.

@Little-Rena is the founder of @SoupSquad there's one about Pico tasting soup that is definitely impactful with themes!

@littlbox @GoodL thank you for creating the episode. You make a great team. It's super awesome to have Weird Al as the first concert experience, and it's awesome that he also came to Sweden.

I'm aware that there's not going to be a season 3, but a spin-off about cuckolderie, I would say, that would be quite epic. You could advertise that on Reddit; you would get all the upvotes!

Cyberdevil responds:

Thank YOU! :)

Congratulations, everyone! There is a lot of variation!

Aalasteir responds:

nice

You made an expertly good song, and the commentary that you utilized, including the tags, definitely introduces a high level of narrative for the King himself. What can I say? I am surprised this is skill level 200. The ending is quite abrupt, which I would say is a thematic decision, representing a swift BBS ban.

EDIT. @SamaadBae5 that is very unfortunate :(

SamaadBae5 responds:

He said he didn't want me to keep the end where I recorded audio of him screeching in euphoria

The melody and chords flow well, great combination of instruments. It's good that there's a strong start, and there's a buildup to when the beat drops, which is a good choice.

oChron1cTQ responds:

Melody and chords, especially instruments, are a big part of Lone's vibe, so I'm very glad it goes well!

The start is also a rap-type start, pretty common in trap and phonk beats. The drop at the end (1:40), is sooo fire imo, every time I hear it I go crazzzyyyyyyyy

btw, the producer tag still hasn't changed, idk really how to get a better one, my voice and microphone wouldn't be suitable (at least yet), so I just use the bad one cuz it's better than getting my beat stolen

Thank you!

Good bass, the melody is cool, and there are good changes in the arrangement, which brings a lot of style.

oChron1cTQ responds:

The bass is supposed to be really loud and kindof unleashed, 'cause it's Freddie Dredd, but I still do have sidechaining, which keeps it from sounding too muddy, however due to the nature of F-Dredd beats, the high end is reduced, so it obviously still is pretty muddy

Melody is just VK, It's pretty much just on the semi-tones, for that dark, killing vibe

Arrangement at the start is definitely different, follows a lot of hip-hop rules

That is a good balance in the instruments, and it's a very unique combination of sounds, creating an interesting atmosphere.

oChron1cTQ responds:

Thanks! Wouldn't expect that, I honestly didn't think it was the best, (especially the newjazz part) but ig it is a pretty good balance, I tried to keep it minimal so it's very uncluttered

Thanks!

Thank you so much! The song sounds awesome! I'm really happy we could collaborate.

PapoFuradoPA responds:

I had fun with it! Thank you!

The beat is great, and you have a cool flow going on!

oChron1cTQ responds:

Thanks, it should as it was made as RnB

I think I might try another track such as this, I want to expand on RnB, it's a really nice genre, and has a correlation to both jazz and hip-hop, which are genres I both like

This is just from my personal experience. I am aware that the podcast was uploaded a long time ago; however, I would still like to give my input on the experience I had with this episode.

I had to rewind a couple of times to understand what Stephen was saying. I didn't even know what his name was because he said it so fast and unclearly. He said, "Hello, I am animator Stephen Brooks," I felt that for a podcast intro, it's important for the audience to understand who the host is, especially if it's a prominent aspect of the show. That needs to be said very clearly; it's not something that can be glossed over. However, you can still communicate high energy while doing so.

I feel the intro is too drawn out and filled with information that doesn't provide any value to the listener. It's simply advertising, which I don't care about. I want to hear what Harry has to say; that's why I clicked on the podcast. I don't know what the Rubberonion Animation Podcast is, and if I were to be concerned with it, it would be recognizing that the Rubberonion Animation Podcast is capable of providing quality content. While I appreciate timestamps, is too condensed, the typography is extremely cramped making it difficult to read. I feel there should be a higher emphasis on spacing for the "Topics & Timestamps" to make it easier to read.

In my experience, timestamps in podcasts are a use of resources because they take a significant amount of time to set up. Setting them up for every topic can be tedious. Instead, I feel that they should be used sparingly and for significant topic changes. They should only be included when the event calls for it and if it is specifically relevant to the audience. Additionally, it is difficult to read when all of the text is combined, and long strings of descriptions describing what is going on make it very difficult to follow.

I would prefer it if the link to Harry was at least above the "Support Me on Patreon" link, as well as above the links to Twitter and YouTube. I found it confusing that there was not a clear separation for that. Pointing arrows to the links also feels cumbersome. I don't like the way they look with Harry's links below the Patreon link. I know none of you are most likely ever going to read this, and this is also well in the past. This is simply in case someone else stumbles across this review and gets some random perspective, like mine, on this podcast.

When it comes to choosing which podcasts to listen to, there are many choices, and podcasts require a significant time investment to get into. The podcast gets really good as it progresses, and Harry is really funny. What I find weird is how Rob is present, but there isn't much incentive for him to interact. The only thing I recall is Stephen saying Rob is excited by cuss words. Overall great listening experience!

rubberonion responds:

Thank you for the critiques and the 5 stars! You're definitely not wrong with your points and I'm glad you enjoyed the show as it went along. Some things we (may) have fixed over time and others are still what I might hand-wave away as our amateur status charm haha but the well thought out review is appreciated by us both, thank you for taking the time! ~Stephen
