super cool colour schemes, what is it like using 8bit Painter?

Appreciate it. :) It's fun, it's a simple little app, basic tools and grids. I'm not used to using fingers more so than mouse to control a brush - feels like precision is harder like this, so it was a bit more time-consuming than it would've been if I did it via PC, but it's easy to use otherwise.

@Blutonium, what is your approach to communicating with clients to understand their needs? What advice do you have for creating a good commission environment for both artists and clients?

Hmm, I'd have to say updating them consistently is very important. It allowed me to let them know that I'm making progress and allowed for them to give input on each individual aspect of the project WHILE I was working on it which would've taken longer to fix in retrospect.

There is a very strong balance of darks and lights. I wish that the Metal Slug text was curved to the side at a 3D angle, as that would make it look more dynamic. Additionally, I think the screen could be a bit wider because the tank feels almost claustrophobic in the scene and doesn't have enough space to breathe.

Perhaps it would be better if the tank were moved more to the middle because I feel that the negative space between the foreground and background creates a sharp edge on the side, which contrasts poorly with the roundness of the tank.

Additionally, the clear distinction between the background and foreground is also a strong suit of the piece.

@ENGINEER24, you are incredibly skilled, and your ability to create very vivid textures is impressive. You have an amazing technique when it comes to shading and lighting. What is your educational background?

First of all, I apologize for the awkward English because I used a translator.

#1 - I learned on my own until I got basic training several month a few years ago. I mainly practiced by drawing from movies or photos or observing factories, machine near my residence.
