SnSQRS - QA

@SnSQRS - @Aalasteir (Q) - Index

Q: What do you like about creating music? And what is your process for creating electronic music?

What I love about making music is the.. peace that comes with it. I mean, it's pretty slow process, so I can think about my life and stuff while making it. About creating electronic music, first, I should be really inspired, then I open my laptop and think how it gonna sound like, then create, nothing too unusual

Q: How did you get interested in playing guitar and singing?

My interest in playing the guitar came when I saw some punks in my neighborhood, they looked pretty happy when singing and guitar-ing together (ig I needed some friends back then)... My interest in singing came when my music teacher made me sing, I "kinda" enjoyed that ability, but insecurities won

- Band

I wanted to start a band with my friends in middle school, my guitar teacher said it was a great idea even. But I had huge leadership problems back then, so we didn't organize anything, even a single rehearsal

Q: Why do you think it didn't work out?

Band stuff didn't work out, because we were just kids without proper support I guess, even our parents thought it's shitty idea

Q: What do you like about creating art?

I like to express my thoughts through creating art. Like, literally, art sometimes describes my memories or my feelings. I don't really post too deep artworks anywhere, I just store it in my bedside table, but still it has some therapy effect

Q: What is it like collecting disks with games, movies, and music on them? Why do you think you like collecting, and what does your collection consist of?

Hmmm, idk I simply enjoy collecting disks, never thought about "what is it like", but heh, people usually ask why do i keep this trash and why didn't i sell/throw it away... I just like "physical media". Same story with soda cans, but I like them cuz every soda can is colorful and unique.

Q: How did you come to have 230 cans?

230 soda cans isn't much and not really unusual between can collectors, I was just buying cans I like. Now most cans give me flashback about times when I could buy coke without overprice... My room doesn't look like a trash can btw

Q: Why did you create your NG account, and what do you think about the community?

Created an account here because back in 2021, I was an edgelord incarnate, found FNF lame, but pico school (I learnt about it after fnf ofc) was interesting stuff for me. I'm glad I grew out of that age, not gonna lie. NG community is one of the most normal and interesting tho, I mean here were some bad people (who were already banned and deleted) but this community is... Well.. very good

Q: The story of your username: SnSQRS

Oh, story of my username... S stands for SORNYAKS, like my early pseudonym (translating from Russian, it's like weeds in the garden, because I thought I was annoying asf (when this pseudonym was made)). SQRS stands for "squares" aka my once-temporary pseudonym for discord and telegram eh

Q: You've been trying out game dev. What kinds of games are you interested in making, and what do you think about the process?

I'd like to make doom2 mods, like move another game to doom or something like that, lol sounds unoriginal and kinda naive:((( When I see some dudes making tutorials, it feels hard as hell, that's why I never tried even ugh

Q: What makes a good game, in your opinion?

Good game = old fps first person shooters. If it's not good-old fps games related, then good game is mix of plot (better if it's not really long) and graphics. I appreciate creativity in games (says who), and it would be even better if their price was less than 15 dollars, I mean I can buy ramen for week for those money here..

Q: Some of your favorite food and drinks?

Expensive ass chips and coffee with some good nostalgic movie. Best food ever. I also like mountain dew (cherry(?) aka code red) tho, best one

Q: What are the positives and negatives of the Internet?

Positive - option to get information from any source

Negative - option to get information from any source.. and scammers
