Q: Why do people listen to music?

A: I believe that many people listen to music to escape from reality and just tale a second to relax/focus.

Q: What role does music play in your life?

A: Music helps me concentrate when doing things, like cleaning around the house or doing work.

Q: How did you discover the NG website? What made you decide to join the community? Do you feel differently about the site now compared to when you first joined?

A: I discovered Newgrounds around 2022 from Geometry Dash, right after I got the full version. I joined the community when I started to create music and have been here ever since.

Q: Your experience with making music? What are the elements you specifically enjoy in ambient music?

A: I originally started music creation with Bandlab because it was the only onw that wasn't blocked by my school or required an application. Just recently, though, I started using LMMS there is a lot more I can do with it. The thing about ambient music is that it just feels enchanting sometimes, like you've been transported to another world.

Q: What are your goals?

A: My goal is to become good at creating music and have people like the music is make.

Q: The story of your username: JLCMusic

A: JLC are the initials of an old alter ego I had on the internet a really long time ago (James Landon Connor). Music is for... well, music.

Q: Why do you say you are overall a silly guy?

A: Honestly, no idea. Not sure why I said that in the first set of questions.

I went to a pizza place with some friends, and they got my order so wrong that they gave me 3 slices of pepperoni pizza instead of the 1 slice of a different pizza I wanted. They also gave me a Diet Pepsi when I asked for normal Dr. Pepper. Safe to say that I haven't been there since.

Q: How do you think the experience has affected you?

A: This story is a classic. Basically, I just don't eat there anymore. There's a ton of local pizza places in my area that are a lot better, anyway.

Q: What do you like about Pokémon? And how do you know every Ultra Beast has a base stat total that is s prime number. That holds up for the Cosmog evolution line, too.

A: I can't believe I mentioned Pokemon in an interview about Music. My autism really is showing, isn't it. But yeah, just a little fun fact about Pokemon, I guess.

Q: What is good music?

A: There is no clear "good music". What ypu think sounds good is almost entirely subjective.

Q: Your advice for being on the Internet

A: Just don't so anything stupid. What you do sticks around for a very long time.
