Srs answer: I am so bad at voting regularly and in the old system I never remembered to actually deposit even when I voted. NG Logs had a stat for missed deposits and I think I had missed 10 whole years worth despite being here every day.

Why did you make the General BBS Close?

That is a common misconception. Malachy didn't close the General and Politics - that was a decision taken by the administration because General and Politics were causing so much drama. The moderation team and many of the users were extremely tired of the amount of issues that were caused by that. Therefore, the decision was taken to shut it down, and it was the right decision because we now have a lot less drama as a result of it.
It was the behavior of the Member Base that caused the closing of the General and Politics.
That is my understanding.
