Reading this interview I can't help but think on the image of your OC standing in front of a mirror talking and asking to it's own reflex. I don't know why, but I think it sounds funny.
Anyways... Nice work interviewing Aalasteir, @Aalasteir.

Thank you so much!
weed ain't expensive, got it of a guy from the alleyway for just 2 dollars
@BoiledMilkz
Sounds like you bought oregano
Only 7 questions this time, @Aalasteir?
I got one more for you.
What's the weirdest thing you've seen on a bus/in public?
Very bold of you to assume that I go outside.
Oh cool, he responded!
Interview is lighter on content than usual...
I as well don't consume alcohol or candy...chips/crackers though, I'm gonna have a hard time replacing that, unless someone has a filling replacement snack they can recommend that doesn't require preparation
Strawberries, grapes, blueberries, and raspberries, those are pretty good.
I wasn't sure what to write.
If I remember correctly this is the second time you do it. Are you sure this is not bad for your mental health?
I have not interviewed myself previously, and no, I don’t think this is bad for my mental health.
@Aalasteir
Fair.
Nothing out there anyway.
@S3C
Nuts.
Pecans, Walnuts, Hazelnuts.
All low carb, high fibre.
This is definitely the meme with two Spider-Men pointing at each other.
@DeaghlanNG @Aalasteir
thanks for the dietary suggestions...I love my fruits & veggies but they end up making me more hungry lol
Nuts are a good one, and I've used that as replacement at times, but when eating in a satiating quantity the fiber or fats really messes with my insides or something
You're absolutely right!
And no worries about not being sure to write...especially if you are a confident man, you can think of more questions for other people than yourself.
What's important is that now fans have a good place on your page to shoot the breeze...
what's your background in music and how long have you been making it for? I see you have a knowledge of scales and modes from your audio submissions. Do you play any instruments?
Do you live alone in your apartment? How is that working out for you
Do you have a day-job, if so what do you do?
If you weren't at NewGrounds, what/where do you think you would be doing instead?
would you ever consider leaving Denmark, if not for a temporary period of time? where in the world would you like to visit? what other countries have you been too?
what was your dream job growing up?

I don't think anyone can properly define irony, rather it's just something you recognize when it happens
yeah, Ableton is packed with M-Audio keyboards, and a bunch of other hardware for that matter, I remember I had a copy bundled with a guitar amplifier once. As the name suggests, real good for live music, but I'm not a fan with the ultra small windows and cramped GUI...I refer to it as a DAW for ants :P
if you like pairing music with philosophy, I highly recommend Kenny Werner's Effortless Mastery, Victor Wooten's The Music Lesson, Timothy Galloway's Inner Game of Tennis (they made a music version of it too, but this is the original)...I have a few more I can't recall on my bookshelf at my parents house, wish I read this comment before I left earlier today
Which DAW did you use, @S3C?
How did you get interested in philosophy?
I'm also on a 2K monitor so things are extra small for me.
Thank you for the recommendations!
when I made music, I used FL Studio.
I also have experience with Logic Pro, and I find it superior DAW in several ways.
But I don't own a Mac, and Logic is Mac exclusive software.
(not to say you can't make FL Studio equally as powerful, but I feel Logic has a workspace that is more conducive to naturally getting the creative juices flowing, personally)
One of my goals this year is to finally buy a Mac primarily for using Logic Pro. As a last ditch effort to get reinvigorated in music again.
The well's been mostly dry the last 2.5 years. My life has kinda sucked for the last 2.5 years. Also around this time my musical pursuits have greatly decreased.
So I need a hobby and I lack confidence when I'm not making music. I feel boring and life is boring when I'm not in the groove...you know what I'm saying?
I don't know how accurate it would be say that I'm interested in philosophy, at least not pure philosophy. I haven't really dived into the works of so-called philosophers. It's a deep subject that I don't want to handle or engage in debates about.
I do like to study people's motivations and choices. I enjoy philosophy when it's applied to fields like education and music. For many musicians and listeners, just making and hearing stuff that sounds good is plenty good enough, and there's no need to delve into the 'whys' of how stuff sounds good. But I want to understand, in some loose way, why things may sound the way they do. I want to be able to communicate with other musicians on somewhat of a scientific basis. And I have a taste for technical things, which naturally leads to interest in constructs like music theory. I want to understand how cultures geographically separated, naturally gravitate to music with pentatonic scales, and how the materials that are rich in their area contribute to their development of instruments and musical styles. stuff like that.
Yep, I understand what you're saying. It's about developing it as a habit because, from my experience, I can fall out of the groove, if it's not part of the routine.
You have a good perspective on philosophy that makes sense to me.
@S3C, why do you find Logic Pro to be better?
OviManic
Now I wanna see an A100 episode that involves you and yourself violently arguing against each other in a Howard Stern-esque format!
